I bought this book at Amazon on sale for 139.99 (or thereabouts) in September 2002. My father had a B & D bought in the '70s when I was a kid and we used the last twenty years and at least one more performance 'costs has prompted me to do the same. I have this problem, be used without the mower, until last month lost the fan blade is located above one of his knives caused a big shock. I found the line runs from the Internet (less than $ 20). In less than 15 minutes to remove, I replaced the fan (a nut, bracket removal, then the blade and fan), the blade was sharp back together and mowing. Mower running like new.
Pros: It 's easy Wight easy to use even pressure on severe slopes. Instant on and off for drinking water system pauses, movement from front to back, etc. More than powerful enough for the grass (because when I'm lazy and missed the weekend). Easy to clean. Easy to fix. Much more at the end like a gas mower. No toxic fumes. No mixing of oil and gas. No storage of fuels.
Cons: The cableconvenance cost to some aspects that, if cut, the volume provides constantly accepting completed. To be honest this is not made me two seasons to do it acceptable to load and I have to change the link (my bad). I confirm cable.
Apart from the bond would after receiving the application. And make recommendations that accompany and my neighbors.
